Just returned from nine days in Spain. Can't say enough about this book. Very helpful in planning. By about the third day, my girlfriend wouldn't leave the hotel room without it. Doesn't have lots of glossy photos, but that's not the point of this book. It also doesn't necessarily cover every city, village, town, and hamlet. But that's okay, too. It covers the best of Spain, and that's enough for me. Full of practical advice and great recommendations. Oh, and if you happen to go to Seville, make sure not to miss Concepción Delgado's daily 10:30 tour. One of many great tips in this book.
